After the initial high-throughput protein crystallographic analysis, higher resolution data is generally needed to obtain a finer electron density map, since it is far-reaching and more informative. We can provide high- resolution X-ray crystallography with our expert staff scientists. Our extensive experience allows us to provide a full range of the services our customers need, from protein expression to structure analysis, for high- resolution crystallography.

Expression and purification	We express protein in E.coli or in insect cells and purify to crystallization quality in alliance with Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd.
Unique initial crystallization trial	For rational approach, we initially try the crystallization condition efficiently with smaller amount of protein solution, using our own database and unique optimization steps.
High-quality protein crystallization	Especially if you have already obtained a crystal which can diffract X-ray about 2 Åresolution, we apply various techniques to obtain crystals of about 1 Å resolution. We have a lot of experiences to handle crystals which diffracted beyond 1 Å resolution,k through technical support of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) PCG project. We notably have a lot of experiences to purify protein to crystallization-grade.
Counter-diffusion method for crystallization	Not only popular vapour-diffusion method, but also counter-diffusion method is used for crystallization in our C-Platform. The counter-diffusion method is adopted as a high-reproducible standard crystallization method in JAXA PCG. C-Tube is a crystallization device of the counter-diffusion method. It will help obtaining crystals of protein-ligand complexes by soaking ligands into the crystals.
X-ray data collection	After obtaining good crystals, we collect X-ray diffraction data using synchrotron radiation facility, and hand F data to customers after scaling.
Structure refinement	We have a lot of experiences of structure determination and analysis of X-ray diffraction data which is sometimes beyond 0.8 A resolution.
Features that other companies do not have	Even if the crystallization did not work out well, we will examine the reasons and feed them back to customers, which will benefit to our customers to go forward to the next step. We will apply for the space crystallization experiment if our customer requests.

If necessary, we offer support service for data collection at SPring-8. Structural analysis We can provide data of three dimensional atomic coordinate, hydrogen bond analysis, and interaction analysis of the protein with ligands, etc., and construct structure data which can be shown in three-dimension.
